U.S. citizens require a valid passport to enter England - check that yours is valid six months past the date of your return to the U.S. Always keep your passport safely with you while traveling - never pack it in your suitcase. You will need to present it at all airports. Once you arrive at your destination it is a good idea to secure your passport safely in your room and carry a photocopy with you when you are out and about. Visitors from the U.S. do not need a visa to enter England but other nationalities should check visa requirements with their nearest United Kingdom embassy or consulate.

Please bring two (2) color photocopies of your passport. One copy will be collected by your tour host at airport check-in and the other should be kept with you.

In early December the daily highs in England run in the upper 40s to low 50s while evening temperatures are typically in the upper 30s. ​

As temperatures may vary, we suggest dressing in layers. There is no specific dress code for any of the program inclusions other than your UK gear!​

To ensure proper handling of your baggage, please follow the instructions below:
 

1. Make sure you have identification on each of your bags including your name, address and cell phone number​

2. Limit yourself to one (1) carry-on item and one (1) small, personal item that must fit in the overhead compartment or beneath the seat.

3. You may check two (2) bags. Standard checked bag allowance is a total of 62 inches (Length + Width + Height) and must weigh 50 lbs per bag.

4. Items such as jewelry, cash, electronics, business documents, prescription drugs, car/house keys, irreplaceable photographs or similar items should not be placed in checked baggage but should be kept in the passenger’s personal possession at all times.

5. All vital medications including insulin, pills, and other medicines must be in your carry-on or personal item.

Meals, unless otherwise specified, are not included in your package price. When planning meals please allow enough time to be on time for scheduled group departures​​​.​​

Before leaving the U.S. contact your bank/credit card company to inform them that you will be traveling out of the country. Typically, your card company will place a hold on your account if they detect unusual spending patterns. Also, remember to request a contact number in case any transaction problems arise on your trip or if you need to report your card lost or stolen. Keep in mind that it’s good practice to travel with two different credit cards in your possession.

Traveling to the UK (London) calls for your converting currency to the Sterling Pound. 

The most cost-efficient way to exchange currency for international travel is to do so prior to your trip and to use the services of your bank or credit union.

If you expect to make/receive cell phone calls or texts while traveling in Europe, you’ll need to contact your wireless provider and add an International Calling/Data Plan to your service.

England's common electric power standard operates on 220 volts and requires the use of a three-rectangular-prong plug. For standard American 110-volt personal appliances—including phones—you’ll need to bring a converter as well as a wall adapter. While dual voltage appliances require only the wall adapter.

Masking
Flying internationally from the U.S. to/from England no longer requires wearing a mask. Depending on your risk tolerance, and for your peace-of-mind, you may want to consider carrying a mask, for use within the airports and on the jetways—if not while in flight.

Testing

Though recommended, it is no longer mandatory that you have a viral test before traveling abroad. Should you elect to do so, however, you should take the test within three days prior to your departure and within 3-5 days after your return home.

If you are a non-U.S. Citizen, please check with your country's Embassy or Consulate for applicable regulations. 

To help our tour hosts identify you as part of the K Fund/Total Sports Travel, we ask that you wear your official event credential for the any tours and game transfers. Credentials will be distributed upon airport check-in.

There will be no paper tickets dispatched for the 2022 London Showcase at the O2 Arena. All tickets will be digital and will need to be downloaded to your smartphone.
